A graduate from La Masia academy, Casado was called up to the main squad in 2022-23 season to make his debut by replacing Franck Kessie in a Champions League match. Last season under Hansi Flick, Casado played 33 games in which he scored five goals and provided one assist. English side Tottenham were reportedly interested in Casado but dropped their interest after signing Joao Palhinha from Bayern Munich.
