Leeds United stretched their unbeaten run to two matches as they drew 1-1 with Championship high-flyers Aston Villa at Elland Road on Friday night, but Whites fans weren’t impressed with Luke Ayling’s performance.Pontus Jansson’s first-half opener was cancelled out by Henri Lansbury’s goal 19 minutes from time to ensure that the spoils were shared and the Yorkshire outfit temporarily moved up to seventh position in the standings.Ayling has been a key performer for the Whites at right-back since the beginning of the 2016/17 campaign, but he has certainly started to struggle for form in recent weeks and didn’t put in his best display against Steve Bruce’s men on Friday.Leeds supporters were quick to have their say on his showing via social media, and while one said “Ayling is no longer the player he used to be”, another simply said he “needs dropping”.Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
