Earlier this season, former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho congratulated the West Ham United scouting team for finding Issa Diop.
The 22-year-old was signed from Toulouse last summer, with the Hammers paying the best part of £22m to bring the centre-back to the London Stadium.
Diop has not been faultless this season – far from it – but there is no question that the defender has impressed many with his form during the 2018-19 campaign.
Diop was again outstanding on Saturday afternoon as West Ham recorded a 1-0 win over Arsenal in the Premier League.
Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both struggled against the powerful and tall Frenchman.
And there is every reason to believe that Diop will continue to improve as he fully settles into Premier League life.
With that in mind, we put the question to the West Ham fans – can your club keep hold of Diop this summer if the big teams start to sniff around?
