da esoccer bet: Manchester United are set for a big defensive boost over the next week, with Eric Bailly returning to Old Trafford earlier than he originally planned.
da apostaganha: Reigning African Cup of Nations champions Ivory Coast were knocked-out by Morocco in the final group match, with Bailly and his team-mates failing to secure the victory they needed to seal their place in the quarter-finals.
Bailly played the full ninety minutes at the heart of Les Elephants’ defence but it was another forgetful night for the reigning champions, who concede their continental title without a single win to their name.
For Manchester United though, it means the young defender will return to Jose Mourinho’s side at a crucial stage of the season, with the Red Devils playing across four different competitions in the next month- beginning with tomorrow’s League Cup semi-final second-leg with Hull City.
Bailly will of course be unavailable for that match and is also unlikely to be available for the FA Cup game with Wigan Athletic this weekend but could return for the Premier League hosting of Hull City in early February.
Whilst Bailly will be extremely disappointed with his nation’s failures at the 2017 African Cup of Nations, United fans were clearly delighted to see him return to bolster their side.
