da betsul: Leeds United fans on Twitter are struggling to decide who should win the club’s Player of the Year award.
The club has asked fans to vote but because of the high level of performance from their two key players, no unanimous verdict has emerged on social media.
Pablo Hernandez and Kalvin Phillips are the two main contenders for the award but very few can seem to split the pair.
Phillips has been immense in midfield with fans now donning him “The Yorkshire Pirlo” whilst Hernandez has scored 12 and assisted 11 goals this campaign.
Many believe that Marcelo Bielsa’s system wouldn’t work without Phillips playing his role but Hernandez’s goal contributions speak for themselves, providing Leeds fans with a dilemma.
With the final vote being a toss-up between the two, it is almost impossible to predict who will win this award as initial responses on Twitter have fans tipping both midfielders for the award.
